Flexible nylon dentures are a “careful method” of prosthetics: there is no need to prepare adjacent teeth. In addition, this is the only option for patients prone to allergies: in prostheses there is no monomer (methylether of methacrylic acid) and metal. Finally, flexible dentures are highly aesthetic; they can be called “prosthetics-invisible”. The nylon is non-hygroscopic and has excellent accuracy and homogeneity due to hot-pressure injection at 12 atmospheres. Therefore, flexible prostheses have an accurate landing and stable fixation. In addition, they are very light and do not irritate the gums.
A number of advantages:
- Nylon dentures are ideally suited for eliminating partial defects (1-2 teeth, microprosthetics), as well as for the installation of complete removable dentures;
- When using elastic flexible prosthesis (which replaced metal alloys and acrylic combinations) there is no unpleasant sensation associated with ion exchange;
- The fixing moment in nylon is better than in acrylic plastics;
- Nylon dentures do not contain metal structures – fastening of such dentures to supporting teeth is carried out with the help of flexible alveolorigental clayers of nylon, which are their continuation continuation and are not noticeable at a smile. This makes it possible to install nylon prostheses on the most complicated aesthetic sites;
- Nylon prostheses are strong and withstand the maximum load – they are very difficult to crack. In this case, plastic dentures, thin and weightless, which eliminates the feeling of heaviness and discomfort in the mouth;
- Nylon dentures can be prescribed both to athletes and amateur extreme sports;
- Flexible nylon prosthesis evenly distribute chewing load, do not press other teeth, therefore they are recommended to those who suffer from a disease of a paradont, as one of the types of medical design, as a treadmill;
- The tint of the prosthetic base and clamor is selected under the color of the gums, in addition, the dental nylon is practically transparent material, and the color has several variants of execution. The shape and design of future prostheses are also selected according to the structure of the gums. All this allows the denture to be practically invisible;
- Nylon is absolutely non-hygroscopic material – nylon dentures do not absorb moisture or odors, therefore they are protected from pathogenic microorganisms.
An option of tooth replacement with nylon dentures is recommended for those who do not want to:
- To spray (turn) teeth under crowns, bridges, and so on;
- Conduct implantation of teeth (do operations);
- Endure the presence of metal “hooks” (clams) that can be seen with a smile;
- Feeling an allergic reaction to various metals.
